Vision, Mission, & Values

Whether you’re just getting started, or pausing to take stock, articulating the What, Why, and How of your work is essential to gaining and sustaining the allegiance of internal and external stakeholders. I’ll partner with you to design and facilitate a process for eliciting success stories — both real and aspirational — that paint a vibrant picture of your organizational identity and intended direction and impact.

Strategy Development

Mission driven organizations can struggle with priority setting because there is so much need. But poor priority setting is a recipe for burnout and ineffectiveness. Leading your team in exercises such as S.W.O.T. (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) and stakeholder mapping, I’ll partner with you to clarify where you want to focus your efforts — and where you might want to let go.

Culture Check

Would you define your culture as entrepreneurial? inclusive? stable? principled? How aligned is your culture to the mission of the organization? Convening a representative cohort to explore and answer these questions could determine the success or failure of a chosen strategy or objective. I’ll partner with you on creating an inclusive process for defining the culture you want and mapping the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

Too often, leaders move right along to the next project or engagement without taking the time to identify key learnings that will enhance the success of future endeavors.
